Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref 15200 T5 serial# circa 1996. Featuring a 34mm diameter case with smooth bezel, sapphire crystal, and original silver satin dial which has naturally developed a warm peach tan color in a concentric zone behind the applied silver indexes. We do not typically see dials turned tropical so “young” in their lifetime, and we don’t exactly know the chemistry as to why some dials patina, while others don’t. But, clearly this tropical dial lends a unique and appealing character to this example.
Powered by caliber 3135 self winding movement with quick set date. With original Rolex stainless steel heavy Oyster bracelet with deployment clasp. This watch has been recently serviced and in excellent mechanical condition, but we have left the case, bezel, and bracelet as found, with surface scratches throughout, indicating this was a much worn and much loved piece. We can polish on request by the buyer.
