Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref 1501 18K PG circa 1965

A scarce and extremely fine example Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref 1503 serial # 1.1 million circa 1965. Featuring a 34mm 18K rose gold case with fluted bezel, acrylic crystal, and original early style silver satin dial with applied tapered rose gold indexes and tapered rose gold dauphine hands. An exceptionally fine condition example, deep rose, (not subtle blush color) case and bracelet. With very sharp condition fluted bezel. A beautiful looking and super condition example of this elusive 18K rose gold model.

Powered by self winding caliber 1560 movement with sweep seconds and date. With associated 18K PG riveted link Oyster bracelet with deployment clasp.

NOTE:  You know we speak in superlatives, but only when warranted. As stated, this is a very scarce and desirable model, but given it’s age, is usually found, if at all, with quite a bit of wear to the bezel, to the lugs, discoloration of the dial, hands, or with replaced yellow crown, or with stretched, and fragile bracelet. If you are in the market for a beautiful vintage rose gold Rolex model on bracelet, this example deserves your attention. Come see it in person in our shop, we don’t expect it to be around for long.

Very popular man’s model or oversized for a woman. Recently fully serviced and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation.
