Rolex Datejust ref 1603 SS/14K WG “Fat Boy” Patina’d Lume circa 1970

Rolex SS/14K WG Datejust ref 1603 circa 1970 with popular “Fat Boy” dial with terrific looking patina’d luminous dots and matching patina’d lume hands. Featuring a 36mm diameter Oyster case with engine turned bezel, acrylic crystal and signed screw down crown. With original silver satin dial with applied silver indexes and silver baton hands and great looking age luminous dots. The dial indexes are the substantially wider style, that we affectionately refer to as “Fat Boy” markers. Similarly, the hands are wider and match the wider railroad track dial indexes. The dial is starting to show faint stress marks in the lacquer coating, visibile only upon close inspection.

Powered by self winding caliber 1570 movement with date and sweep seconds. With original Rolex stainless steel rolled link jubilee bracelet with deployment clasp. An especially clean and attractive example.

Guaranteed genuine, serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers and offered with a 1 year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation. Also accompanying your purchase is one of our beautiful handmade Italian leather watch travel pouches, a $55 value!
