Featuring a 36mm diameter Oyster case with scarce and early finely milled bezel, acrylic crystal and early and original champagne dial with applied gold stick indexes and gold  tapered hands. Powered by self winding caliber 1560 butterfly rotor movement with date and sweep seconds. Exceptionally pleasing matte silver “door stop” signed SWISS dial, produced as a dress model without luminous tp the dial and hands. Fitted with your choice of fine leather or exotic skin strap to enhance the great looks and style of this fine vintage piece.

Note that we have photo’d this watch with a dome tropic 21 crystal without the distracting cyclops date magnifier. We think the dome crystal is a welcome enhancement to this fine vintage piece and further gives the dial a slightly larger appearance. It is our understanding that the early Datejust dials with gold frames surrounding the date window originally came with non cyclops crystals.
