Heuer Daytona Chronograph ref. 110.203B circa 1981

An interesting and seldom seen Heuer Daytona chronograph, ref. 110.203B. This incredibly fun Heuer chronograph is also fresh from the original owner, which he purchased new in 1981! The Heuer Daytona came in two different dials, blue and black, and was only made from 1976-1980. Featuring a 39mm diameter barrel shaped case, with integrated stainless steel bracelet that looks remarkably like the one found on the Rolex Oyster Quartz.

The dial on this Daytona is the sought after blue variant, a gradient blue that darkens at the edges and shows an ever so slight bit of texture and grain. The blue of the dial is set off by the incredible cream color the markers and hands have turned, as well as the red date wheel at 6 o’clock.

Powered by the popular automatic winding Heuer Caliber 12, a two register chronograph with date. With a slightly later Tag Heuer signed bracelet with deployment clasp and flip lock. Very clean, super looking, large and pristine condition vintage inspired model that will comfortably  fit a 7 1/2″ wrist. Recently fully serviced by one of our veteran watchmakers and offered with our 1 year warranty of accurate timekeeping and operation.
