A great condition and appealing 32.5 x 40mm Hamilton 14K YG dress model circa 1961 with great looking modernist “atomic age” design elements. Like most Hamilton models, this model has a designated name, in this case, the “Bradford B.” Elements of its modernist design include the sloping edge thin case, futuristic H logo on the dial and crown, minimalist 1/4 markers at the sub seconds, and raised gold dots intercepted by elongated black printed indexes. The design resembles some of the 1960’s era futurist clock designs by George Nelson.

This example features an especially clean and untouched original matte silver dial, an unengraved 14K YG case, and is powered by Hamilton’s top of the line 22 jewel manual wind caliber 770 movement with subsidiary seconds.
