The Dubey and Schaldenbrand company may not be well known, but it has a compelling history. D & S was revived In 1995 by female watchmaker and company director Cinette Robert. Cinette had accumulated a sizable collection of fine watch movements from previous decades which inspired the vintage designs of the company’s production. Among the most notable models were the D & S Aerodyn Jump Hour, Aerodyn Duo and Vintage Caprice. In our opinion, they were among the most beautifully executed vintage and art deco designs of the era, and lead the way for other companies to revive their own vintage inspired designs. The current example, 18K YG Aerodyn Jump hour #93 of 100 pieces produced is definitely an inspired and elegant example of the company’s production.
