A very cool design 1980’s era “Fat Boy” man’s British military G-10 issue wristwatch with the nickname you have to love. Featuring a 35 X 41mm non reflective brushed finish base metal case and very clean original matte black dial with large tritium lume Arabic numerals and oversize triangular luminous hour indexes, tritium lume hands and sweep seconds. Battery powered quartz movement accessed through a small hatch on the casebook. Case back stamped 6645-99 541-5317 2763/80 with the /80 indicating this as an original and not a reissue, with date code of 1980. With solid spring bars that take a 1 piece NATO style strap.
This was the first the first quartz issued watch to British Forces, the G10. A great vintage look with excellent condition case, dial, and hands that shows great. Why have the reissue when you can have the original!
