Cartier man’s 18K YG Tank Louis circa 1970s. Featuring a 23.5 X 30.5mm rectangular case secured by 4 case screws. Featuring classic white enamel  dial with printed black Roman numerals with gilt hands. Powered by 17 jewel manual wind caliber ETA 2512 movement with Cartier cabochon sapphire crown. With 18K YG Cartier folding deployment buckle and generic black crocodile strap. Deployment stamped Cartier 18K and with hand stamped numbers. 

This is the classic Cartier tank, slightly larger than the lady’s model of the era, and an ideal sporty size for woman. This earlier version came with gold hands, rather than blued steel hands. The original white dial shows slight signs of aging and bears the Cartier “secret” signature. The shallow outside caseback engraving has been worn or polished over the years, while the inside caseback signatures are all intact. Partial caseback hand stamped numbers appear on the back of one lug.
