In our ongoing efforts to provide you the finest condition examples of vintage watches, we proudly offer you the finest example we have ever owned. We thank our unnamed Midwest source for making this exceptional example available to us.

The case, dial, hands and lume condition are all in excellent condition. The case is without nicks or dings, and the dial surface is clean and unmarred, and the case in unpolished with original factory finish. And finally, the all important luminous indexes and hands are all intact and a beautiful Midwest maize color!

Powered by 17 jewel manual wind Benrus DR 2F2 movement, basically a Benrus signed ETA 2372, which has been recently serviced and guaranteed. This example has the hack feature, which means the sweep seconds stops when the crown is pulled out.

NOTE: Photos show generic winding/setting crown, but an original signed Benrus crown has been sourced and is now installed on the watch. See additional photos.

The Benrus “Bullit”, a watch made famous by the Steve McQueen film of the same name. Featuring a 34 X 41mm stainless steel case, acrylic crystal, original matte black dial with 24 hour and triangular luminous hour indexes, luminous hands and red arrow tipped sweep seconds hand. he watch looks nearly indistinguishable from its brothers destined for military service, beside three differences. (1) The red tipped sweep seconds hand, (2) the case back designation “Series # 3061”, and (3) the inclusion of the name Benrus on the dial.
